Fit and Testing link

Brad's picture

Hey all,

I was thinking of going and getting a bike fit, mostly to adjust my cleats and a few things to confirm to myself my position is good from where I set it up back in the day. I got this link from Ron Miller over at Physio Therapy regarding the new G-Fit Studio. If you are interested in something similar check it out.

Good Stuff

I've heard nothing but good things about the fit since several people I know have done it now. Cory Hart knows his stuff... he's who I won that lactate blood threshold test with when he was over at Physio with Ron, etc. Cory's also who's given Tim D a lot of his power training advice from what Tim told me. He knows his stuff. The fit system they use is amazingly cool where they put sensors all over your joints and take a small video clip recording and a computer crunches the numbers on it all and spits out all your actual riding angles, etc.

Spendy!

But I'm interested in hearing how it goes.

Gfit Studio Information

Hello Brad,

I moved Physio Performance Lab into G-Fit Studio in November 2008. G-Fit contracts PPL to do bike fits and perform the performance testing. We don’t offer discounts on bike fits with the exception of the $25 coupon that is on the Georges website through the end of February. I’ve already settled on the sponsored clubs for 2010 that will receive discounts on performance tests. Our service prices are already significantly less than the national average (~50%) without the discounts for the comparable level of service, equipment, and expertise provided. The prices and service descriptions are listed on the websites (www.physiopl.com or www.gfitstudio.com).
