1-12-2010 Team Meeting Recap
Hey Team Reel,
Thanks to all of you who made it out to the Meridian Cycles this evening for the meeting. Also a big thanks to Meridian Cycles for being such gracious hosts and providing the food, etc!
The link to order clothing directly from Voler was sent out to all who provided email addresses at the meeting. If you were left off, please let somebody know.
A big thanks also goes out to Reel Theatres for picking up 50% of ALL our clothing costs. The discount has already been subtracted from the prices you will see on the ordering site.
As discussed tonight, in order to receive the 50% discount on clothing, we expect you to sign up to lead one weekly club ride and volunteer at one of our club sponsored race events. If you have not signed up please do so ASAP as all orders will be reviewed with the sign-up lists before they are finalized and allowed to be submitted.
As Brad discussed tonight we've got an event reimbursement plan worked up for 2010 that should not be missed. This will give back to those that are out representing our club and it's sponsors at races, rides and other similar events. Please check it out and post to the thread if there are questions, etc.

We'd really like to get everyone registered and participating on the team website. This is where we are all most active in posting information about current club events whether it's races, charity rides, group rides, training sessions, etc, etc. For those that haven't registered yet, just head over to:

Lastly, for those that still have possible club sponsors in mind, the pdf's concerning pricing etc are linked below. We're getting down to crunch time on these though so please hurry if you've got ideas. The logos, etc for possible sponsors will need to be finalized at the same time as our ordering deadline in only a couple weeks.

Downhill Jersey?
Anybody else thinking of ordering the mountain bike jersey? I just looked, and we've only hit the minimum order numbers on the short sleeves and bottoms. The long sleeves and accessories are getting close. I thought we would at least get 1/2 the way towards the DH stuff, but at the moment it's only 3 of 15.
I don't think we can hit the minimum every year on these (and maybe never), so if you've though about it at all -- jump in this year, order the DH jersey, and let's hit Moab in style!!!

I have not yet finalized my order, but I am ordering one for sure. I am glad you posted this as I was thinking of doing the same thing. It would be great to know who all is in.
DH Jersey
After talking with Rob yesterday I've decided to go ahead and order a few things including the DH jersey. I am meeting with Eric today to try on some stuff so I should have my order placed by this afternoon.
So far...
Yeah I'm not sure we'll meet the minimum on this one, but it'll be great if we do. The short sleeve seems perfect for those mountain bike days when you want to ride a bit more baggy and not be mr spandex racer man. So far the only ones that have them submitted are me, ladd & bobby and not one other person has them in their carts yet either... so it's not looking good.

It's been in my cart for a week. . . I wonder why it's not showing up in the totals? I'll check out, maybe that will trigger it.

The numbers don't register into the minimums until the order is actually submitted. Yours is in there now as #4.
Only 4 more days for everyone to submit orders anyway... time to get those things finalized!
Sign up for team rides
Hey Eric,
I am probably just missing this somewhere, but where/how do we sign up to "Captain" a Thurs night team ride?

Just create a new post and label it similar to our others (4-8-10 Club Ride). Write what you'll be doing in it (road, mountain, location, etc) and add a date to the fields below the body of the post. This will add it to the calendar and also create a spot for others to respond to that specific event down the road. If you can't figure it out just give me the details and I'll add it for you. :)

Just post the date you want to lead in this forum similar to the other posters along with start location, type of ride, etc.

If you put in a date and a start time (military time if I remember right) it will automatically put it on the calendar as well.
One more DH jersey
I submitted my order last night and included one of those real cool DH jerseys that all the cool kids will be wearing this year. It sounds like Steve will probably order one as well.
