Team Reel Theatre Event Reimbursement

Hello all,

We have hashed out an event reimbursement plan for the season and (hopefully) beyond for our club members. We tried to come up with all the most common exceptions that are bound to come up but if you have any questions on anything let me know. For now, please see the notes below.

Team Reel Theatre Event Reimbursement:

Club member applying for event reimbursements are required to do the following things. All monies are dependent on the amount of funds in club accounts and we do not make claims to have the funds to pay out for all members at all the events said members participated at throughout the season. The club reserves the right to keep a small amount of cash in accounts to meet minimum balance requirements, etc.

1. Member is required to be a registered user on team website.

2. Member is required to post a small recap of their particular race/event/tour. Please include a photo or two if possible showing off your cool team clothing and how you represented your sponsors which make this possible. Please do thin on your user account blog, each registered user has one of these accessible by the menu in the left nav column.

3. Team members shall be required to wear the current Team Reel Theatre specific clothing, the jersey at a minimum for said events.

4. Riders must enter “Team Reel” or "Team Reel Theatre" as sponsor on event entry forms.

5. You must apply for reimbursement within 30 days of actual event date by posting small recap, photo(s) & results (if applicable) to the club website. Events will cap out at $25.00 per event (example: one day mtn, road, triathlon, cross race or one day charity ride, and week-long events such as Ride Idaho, stage races, series events such as the fairground crits).

6. Minimum of 6 events shall be completed to be eligible. Any possible event reimbursement will be distributed at the end of the season (thinking around Novemberish or so). We decided on this route to allow all members to participate in their particular events of choice and to allow a more “fair” distribution of any funds available.

7. Member must volunteer to lead at least two of the weekly Thursday night club rides (road, mtn your choice, you post the starting location, approximate distance/ride time). These are fun rides, not races, meant to cater to the group that shows up.

8. Member must volunteer at two minimum of the clubs sponsored competitive events (Eagle Island Cyclocross races, Mount Harrison Hill Climb, for example).

9. Member must be a good representative for the club and for its sponsors, follow traffic laws, be courteous and responsible.

10. Otherwise have fun riding!

Awesome!

That sounds fantastic! One thought might be to extend just a little later than mid October to allow for those who will need a few more cross races to meet the 6 event minimum. Thanks a ton to oue awesome sponsors!!!

Event Reimbursement Date

I changed it to later in November or so, that is still up in the air a bit. Would like to get people out at some of the charity rides, etc so sponsors get a bit more exposure vs. only doing cross races where not as many people see us in our cool clothing.

Awesome

I am assuming critically acclaimed, Golden Globe nominated videos qualify as a race recap (Criteria #2). If so, I would like to thank the academy...

Seriously, I would like to echo Rob's sentiment that this is the coolest club ever. I had no idea when I was shanghaied by the Deeble clan that I would have enjoyed the group as much as I have. It has been my best year in the saddle yet. I still suck, you haven't been able to cure that yet, but it has been more fun than I imagined.
