Treasure Valley Cycling Club

I have been ridding a road bike now for near 6 years. I have done many of the Epics around here but have never done the one most talked about. Well Saturday I decided to headout for the longest ride of the year for me. I was glad Eric and Ladd were dumb enough to go with me.
All I really want to say about this ride is that it is awesome. The rolling hills going out to Emmett and the nice highway heading to Horseshoe Bend are just plain fun to ride. The climb on the old highway heading out was awesome, except for the 2 flats within 3 minutes of each other. I do have to say I really don't like doing long downhills on my road bike. So that part I could do without. Ladd took the lead on the way home and let us know who was in-shape. My heart rate was 5-10 beats faster when he was on the front then when I was on the front. But all in all a great ride and I will be doing that one more than once every 5 years. Thank you Eric and Ladd for the great ride.
