Team Photo / Ride / Pool Party
Hi All,
I'm putting this message out to get it on the calendar and to help organize the eats! I'm assuming that the picture is at 6:00, with the ride to start right after the photo. (So plan to be there about 5-10 minutes early?) If you can't be there by 6:00, speak up and we may have to juggle the photo time...
Please reply to this post with what you plan to bring and how much. i.e. we could probably use several salads (green, potato, jello, etc). I think we had about 35 folks as the party last yer. Also, feel free to sign up for anything I've forgotten and I'll add it to this initial list.

Veggie tray and questions
Okay put me down for veggie tray. So just to review for my benefit, the pic is at 6:00, the ride is after that..and how long will that be? then dinner is after that I assume? and do we wear our team kits for the pic I assume also? and then there's swimming mixed throughout right? :)

I thought it was something like:
5:50 -- hang around in front of Steve's house like the world's wimpest bike gang
6:00 -- pictures in team kit
6:15 -- Homer loop, about 18 miles, easy ride
7:30 -- BBQ and swimming!!!
???? -- Leave when Steve gets sick of hearing me yell "Everybody watch this cannonball!!!"

We had a big, fun group last year. Who's coming that we haven't heard from on this thread? (it will help everyone who's bringing something to judge what's needed)

We will be there....except I will again miss the group pic, I don't know if I've ever been in one! I work until 730p, but I'll come over right after. Eric and Ammon are planning on the pic and ride, and they will bring cheese, how's that sound?
Thursday night ride, barbeque and pool party
Looking forward to all who can make it tomorrow for the ride, barbeque and pool party. The address is 13352 West Bluebonnet which is in Hobble Creek subdivision. From Eagle road turn east on Hobble Creek road which is at the light just south of the Eagle/Chinden intersection. One on Hobble Creek road you'll come to a T in the road; turn left (north) and proceed over the small bridge. Bluebonnet is immediately after the bridge; turn left and I'm 3 houses down on the right.
I think we'll have about 30 people attending if all who said they would come do come with kids (Ladd and Jenny accout for about 10 of those). For those arriving after the ride we could even consider an after the ride shot. We still need help with side dishes. See Ladd's list above.

2 seater burley available tonight
For those who are ambitious enough to haul a child or two on tonight's bike ride, I have a 2 seater burley available. Let me know if you would like to use it.

Count the McKinlay's in. We'll bring a jello salad. We're working on lining up a bike for Paula and I'll be lugging our two youngest in a trailer, but we're hoping to be there for the ride too.
FUN!
What a great evening. Thanks to Steve and everyone else that made it happen. We had nearly 20 people out on the ride and about 45 for dinner afterwards. Awesome!!
Hopefully we can check out the official photo Brad took soon too.

I enjoyed the evening and very much appreciate the contribution made by our sponsors. The picture is excellent! What a formidable club! Brad, would it be possible to get a digital copy of the picture? I wanted to crop the right side of the shot, but it doesn't appear the editing features that come with the website attached to the picture allow that and I am not able to download the picture to my computer so I can edit with software on my computer
