Saturday Tamarack
I went up with my brother James up to McCall for the weekend and decided we would go do the Tamarack race. Well if you wanted a down poor and riding through creeks this would be the race for you. It was so wet and muddy. The course was a very short track course which was not ideal for cross but i guess I do okay at those because I was actually able to move up through the field instead of always getting past. We did 15 laps in the A field and the B field did 10. Shows how short they are. It was an okay turnout and we has some presence up there. I am hoping we can get a cross race with ran and muck on a real cross course.
It was freezing when you stopped riding. I went to go wash my bike with the hose they had and the water out of the hose felt a lot warmer then the temp outside. Not sure how I did over all but the experience was good.
