Hi everyone. I just moved here from Reno this fall and I am having trouble getting connected. I would love some 411 on local rides. Days, times and locations would be greatly appreciated. Any speed is ok by me. I just would love some company.

I think the biggest local ride day is the Tuesday Nighter but it's more of a training mash-fest threshold pacelines type thing. Still fun and often over 50 people show up but nobody's going to wait for you if you get dropped. Meet at the corner of Pleasant Valley & Ten Mile Creek just before 7pm or they leave from downtown George's store at 6pm.
Pretty much every club in town does their own weekly rides as well. You're welcome to join us. As you probably saw in the other threads we are just getting our Thursday evening rides going, but they are often a mix of mtn or road depending on what the person leading that week decides.
We usually have our own little club training session on Tuesday nights as well at 6pm which you could join in on if interested.
As far as what the other clubs in town do... I'm sure others may have some details to share.
From what I can find quickly. Lactic Acid leaves from Idaho Mountain Touring at 10am every Saturday for a no drop road ride. Lost River leaves from 600 N Robbins Road at 6:15pm every Wed for a no drop road ride. Team Dobbiaco leaves from Satchel's Grill at 6:15pm every Wed for a no drop road ride. I think there are quite a few others I'm missing... but this might get you started. Anybody else have any??
