Seeing if anyone is interested in doing our old Tuesday night sprint/power workouts again. If so I will probably start easy soon and work up to hard stuff in the next month or so. Let me know.
Ok, I will probably try to start on the 22nd then at 6 PM. It will be fairly easy stuff and get progressively harder as the season goes on. You can always make it harder though if your fitness is above, say mine ;).
I am considering doing this only 3 weeks of the month so that 1 of those weeks we could do the traditional George's paceline ride instead.
Brad,
That sounds like fun. I am running Robie Creek this weekend and then I am going to start training for cycling. That's right I said START. I went out for a ride with Rob, Tom, and Eric a few weeks ago and I was pathetic! I will try to attend as many of the Tuesday speed workouts as possible. Let me in on the details. Brian Fuller
Jamie D. and I are running Robie also (in kilts!) so I've been focused on running. I think I've been on the bike twice this season. Looking forward to the switch to biking after this weekend...
Sounds like you already have been training, cardio is probably good from all the running.
I don't feel like typing it all out so come by if you want and we I will break it down. I have exercised about 5 times this year, and maybe 15 times last year, riding, skiing, etc so I will be starting slow but you guys can work out as hard as you wish. I am going to build slow so my knees, muscles etc will not get stressed too quickly.
You can come by my house at 6 PM or Camels Back park a few minutes after as we work our way over there.
Some of you missed a good ride tonight. I've got a long way to go... I think if I keep these up weekly it will really help though. For those that weren't there, ya I puked in the bushes off the side of the road after firing off a couple wimpy sprint attacks. We even took it easy compared to the normal routine and skipped some of the usual hill climbs. Weak!
Yeah, was going to ask how your tummy was feeling today :)
I think next week I will probably take it a little bit easier, I am not really interested in pushing it too hard to early. It is just dumb in the long run and I need a base before I do too much intensity. See you guys then!
Man what is up with you and the Puke this year? You have done enough to last you a couple years already in just this year. Sounds like a great work out though! I had a fantastic Mtn Ride!!! I will look forward to joining you guys soon.
I am in. I will probably leave my house around 4:00 and ride before hand. If anyone else is able, come join me. I will see everyone else at Brad's at 6:00.
I might have to let you guys lead this one without me. I stayed home sick yesterday and my head/sinuses still hurt. I might ride over to the sprint area but won't be doing any sprints or attacks, just have to see how I feel when I get home. Today though, do the steeper hill up the Mesa and then down the other side. Turn around and go back up the downhill (so you did 2 climbs up the Mesa this week). You should be going around 80% up the hill until the last 1/3 of the climb and then all out to go anaerobic and hold it to the end. Attack each other like before on the way back but please be careful of the cars, we don't want to make our sponsors look bad or get anyone hurt...
Ya, not only does the wind blow, but so do those hills. But after it feel good to know you did something. Hope to see more join us, it was a good time!
Long ride, then sprint intervals, then hills, then attacks...I thought we were done on Harrison. But then Nate throws down again on Hill Rd??? Isn't that the official "cool down" area? I think he needs to ride with a backpack full of rocks next week!
The question is what's up with you and Rob. I was plenty thrashed with our little shorty starting downtown... not quite sure how you guys made it all the way home after riding out there first too. :)
YEAH
I'm interested! I won't be able to make all of them depending on Jamie's schedule... but count me in for the others.

Sounds like fun.
Sounds Awesome.
I miss those old days. I will try to make it at least a couple times a month. I think I should be able to do that.
Interested
I don't know how often I can attend, but I'll be there when I can...
Sounds good

Stronger
Eric--That which makes you puke makes you stronger!
Hehe

I'm 50/50 at 4:00
Rob, call me before you leave...
Weather question:
From the national weather service for today at 6:00:
Tuesday, April 29 at 6pm
Temperature: 68°F Wind Chill: N/A Wind: NNW 23G34mph
Precipitation Potential: 41%
Rain: Chance (30%-50%) Thunder: <10% Snow: <10%
Gusts to 34mph? Since I usually ride under 20mph, does that mean that I'll be riding about 15mph BACKWARDS?
I wish I could ride backwards
Wind blows!
6 is a bit too late, wish I could join you but maybe go fly kites instead.
Nate's House
You better count me out. I am not up to it and so have made plans elsewhere. See you next week though. I would just meet at Nate's and go from there.
good ride
Another good ride this week... boy did those hill climbs take it out of me, but no puke!
Hurt so Good
Ya, not only does the wind blow, but so do those hills. But after it feel good to know you did something. Hope to see more join us, it was a good time!
What's up with Nate?

You are one to talk
What Ladd failed to mention is the time he dropped me out in Eagle! Be careful if you ride with Ladd right now, he is one tough hombre!
