Don L, Steve L and I have been talking about a morning road ride tomorrow, departing around 6. The route, distance, and level of exertion are still up for discussion, but we're hoping to ride with a large group. Who can join us?
So do you have a plan on where you are going? I may try to keep up for a while - but you guys go mach 1 so may not be able to hang for to long. Let me know where you plan to go.
You've got nothing to worry about, Tony, you'll be just fine. Most of my rides the past month have been on a stationary recumbent with a wobbly crankarm, so I'm just looking forward to riding a normal bike again and don't plan to set a blazing pace. As far as route, my vote would be to do between 40 - 50 miles, so maybe emmett and back or HSB and back or out toward middleton. Or, if we wanted to do some climbing, we could do cartright and bogus up to the forest service sign or something...
Any of those routes sound good. I have been mashing intervals this week, and Steve L kept our pace fast and hard for 80 miles last saturday - so I would like lots of miles, but may have to be a little more moderate pace. Some climbing would be good too.
I would join, but I need to save some juice for the Twilight. I race at 3:45. All are welcome to join. :)
